The VMP blender range has been developed for high-accuracy (+/- 0.25%) dosing and mixing of powders, granules and regrind.

The design is based on a modular system providing up to 4 metering-stations as standard. (Special options for more than 4 materials and/or higher throughputs are available).

All the metering-stations are mounted on a flat-bed plate and are easily removed by releasing heavy-duty handscrews, providing the processor with the ability to perform fast clean-down and material change.

Each material station can be loaded manually or automatically with a JENCO loader. The VMP blender can be either mounted directly on the machine throat, replacing the machine hopper, or freestanding to provide centrallised mixing for a number of individual process machines requiring the same material mix.

Calibration of the mixer is easily achieved by use of the calibration chute and the required dose for each material is simply set via the PLC control panel by keying in the calibrated dose weights and percentages.

In operation, the mixer will continue to dose, record and mix the quantities set until the high-level proximity switch in the mixing hopper is covered with material. This will interrupt the dosing cycle and all dosing wheels will stop until the process machine uses sufficient material to drop the level below the high-level switch. Dosing will then recommence automatically.
